Books for Various Ages
See what the Ontario crowd say.
It's probably best to work off the basis that you won't be back to Ireland for a long time if ever so you can look at their education system then.

Podcast
If it's going to be a podcast it has to be worth listening to and I'm not interested in being involved in a podcast unless there's planning involved. We take a topic we're both interested in, we research and then we do a podcast about it.
Tricks of the Trade
Teaching is not just a job, or a vocation, it's a craft. Here's some tricks of picked up along the way.
The seating plan means control, which means productivity.
Add intuition. Let's make that initial question something students can guess at. This is my go-to. I'd be surprised if it didn't feature in every single makeover this summer. It's the easiest, cheapest move I can make to get students to commit to a task.

The tide of technology into education is coming... you better be prepared as by the time you get in the classroom everyone could have ipads. What can you do for employers to show that you are tech savy?
Perhaps tech based hobbies?
Also gamification, gamificaiton, gamificaiton. Might be an idea for a website and an app here...
e.g. gamelife, gamify, lifegame, thegrey, greygame etc.

Instead of having stand along articles it might be an idea to take a leaf out of the gamification book and simply provide links or else a short paragraph and a link to sites you have contributed to.
e.g. my profile on spiritualityireland.org which would include the articles I wrote.
Feminism might include an article I wrote for some feminist site etc.
You could provide a link to the New Lits wiki under wiki's.

Include your CV
Create it as a google document, admitedly a fancy one, so that you can update it as you go.
Lessons you learned from Dad's pile.
- You need to show them your a go
- Include the fact that you play an instrument.
- Include the fact that you co-founded and lead organiser of the Cork Humanists for two years. and was requested to give a presentation on being an LGBT Ally
- Mention that you are a blogger and run your own website.
- Social officier of the Cork Vegans.
- Auditor of the Atheist Society
- member of the Pro-Choice Alliance Cork and organisers of the March for Choice and ran a successful 'media event' for want of a better term.
- see if you can find a game that is both physical and mentally demanding in terms of strategy.
- Writing guest blog posts and articles for magazines can be good for CV, oh and also writing short stories that you can get published.
But what can you do for mathematics?

This would include CBG19, the Vegan Zombie, feminist frequency and some education role model like Aflie Kohn or something.
Perhaps even my own youtube channel with a collection of educational videos.

This will include a picture of myself. And little snippets from all the major sections of the site.
Have a little part that says, this blog is for me not you.
Also have a personal section that you update from time to time, e.g. I've got a new job, I went to a board gaming night. Just worked on a new piece of the website.
It would be great it if it could also include a tagging system like in word press (remember you can use html).
Note I think my Hackucation has to be seperated from the personal.
Hackucation should include hybrid business models, social entrepenuerism, YSI in Canada (f your working with what you know this might be a good idea).
It would be nice if this was a colourful blog.
It might be an idea to include a blog post on your blog posts on the front page that way you might be able to include all the different tags.
